AIMS and OBJECTIVES
English Drama aims to develop members’ confidence and creativity, while at the same time honing their ability to express articulately in the realm of oratory and dramatization through the use of the English language. Pupils will be exposed to a whole range of drama skills such as stage positions, movements, scripting, miming, voice projection, enunciation, pronunciation, and diction. In addition, the programme will prepare pupils for live performances and provide ample opportunities for pupils to flex their drama skills on stage, thereby building their confidence when performing.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
An English Drama member is someone who displays sisterly love and works collaboratively together in a group setting. Members will develop their individual leadership skills through the opportunity to lead their team during the different group activities. At the same time, she will learn to be highly adaptive to new situations and be confident in conveying her intent through scriptwriting and dramatizing.
