Aims and objectives
In Chinese Dance, pupils learn Chinese Dance techniques to develop flexibility and stamina. This CCA also allows pupils to cultivate an understanding and appreciation for Chinese Dance through exposure to stage performances.
Through the weekly training, pupils learn the importance of teamwork. With their demanding schoolwork and rigorous training, they will also develop greater self-discipline and perseverance.
Finally, with performance opportunities, pupils will build up confidence and showmanship.
Character Development
This CCA cultivates pupils’ interest for Chinese Dance and culture through the teaching of dance moves. Pupils will develop the dance skills and put their artistic skills into practice. Through this CCA, pupils learn self-management, teamwork spirit, sportsmanship, and perseverance.
Selected members will be given the opportunity to undergo leadership training. After the training, they will be given the platform to apply the skills learnt such as leading the team to plan for team bonding activities and farewell parties.
